Yoshinotomo Brewery (Toyama Prefecture, Japan / Founded in 1877) is pleased to announce the launch of a collaboration project with professional drift driver Sayaka Shimoda, beginning in 2026.

For more than 140 years, Yoshinotomo Brewery has remained dedicated to producing exclusively junmai sake,
preserving traditional craftsmanship while continuing to share the appeal of Japanese sake culture with the world.

Meanwhile, Sayaka Shimoda has been actively promoting drifting — a motorsport that originated in Japan — on the global stage.

Although the brewery and Ms. Shimoda come from different fields, this collaboration was made possible by a shared vision: to communicate the unique appeal of Japanese culture to audiences around the world.

Throughout 2026, several joint initiatives are planned, including collaborative social media campaigns,
event appearances, co-promotional activities, content creation, and special collaboration projects.
